Hello and welcome!

I’m Carol and I’m a professional fine art and lifestyle equine photographer based in the beautiful county of Suffolk.  I live just outside Bury St. Edmunds with my husband and our two cats; Percy (the boss) and Inky (who thinks he’s the boss). Along with photography I love chocolate and cake and I do have a weakness for a good cappuccino, preferably with a caramel shot.  If I‘m not photographing horses you’ll probably find me curled up with book or out in the countryside – I do love a bit of landscape photography too.

Photography is a very important part of my life, an integral part of my space. It’s made me learn to look, to see what’s around me and has inspired me with the desire to create elegant and expressive images, pictures with soul.  Having studied at The Open College of The Arts a few years ago I try to introduce my knowledge of the arts and visual culture into my photographic work.

My love of telling a story and creating memories for people found me at the start of my photographic career enjoying wedding and family photography. However my love of horses from a young age led me to change pathway (my lightbulb moment was when my business mentor told me that I lit up when I talked about horses) and I now specialise in equine fine art and lifestyle photography.

I do take on a limited number of other commissions – commercial and corporate work, bespoke projects – so please contact me for availability and a quote.  Whilst I live in Suffolk I cover the whole of East Anglia and beyond.

If you’ve got a few minutes to spare,  do take a look at my blog where you’ll find regular news about what I’ve been up to as well as occasional articles on other topics with a photographic flavour.
