I had an early morning start today on a shoot for Bury in Bloom, this time to mark the sprucing up of a rather untidy and neglected flower bed next to a new roundabout in the town.
Bury in Bloom decided on a new shape for the bed (it’s now in the shape of a smile – how nice is that!) and a local gardening company designed the planting using plants from a local nursery. The bed will be maintained over the coming year using seasonal plants.
The new planting has attracted loads of compliments on social media from passers-by and I was pleased to see both these image feature in the local press, accompanying an article about the transformation of the flower bed.
