Looking back on 2019

So 2020 is here and I’ve spent the last couple of hours looking back at my images from 2019.  It’s been a busy year and I’ve been invited to photograph many happy celebrations and events.   It is a real privilege to be entrusted with capturing special moments and helping to create lasting memories.

Sadly I am not able to share most of my corporate work however it was a lovely surprise in the summer to walk around my home town of Bury St Edmunds and discover my images on a number of banners promoting the local organisation Bury in Bloom.  It’s also been good fun spotting my images in both local and national magazines.

The equestrian side of my business grew successfully and I have been enjoying becoming part of the local horse community, making some good friends along the way.  Thank you all for your support and encouragement – it means a great deal.

Here are a few images that sum up 2019 for me.  It was very difficult to pick just a few out of the thousands that I’ve taken over the past twelve months and these are ones that have just stuck in my mind, often for emotive reasons.

My New Year’s resolution for 2020 is to pick up this blog again so do keep an eye out to see what I’m up to. If you are looking for high-quality, professional images of your wedding, celebration, or corporate or charity event, or would like to book a family or equine photoshoot please get in touch; I’d love to hear from you.

Wishing you all a Happy New Year!
