A little bit about me
Hello, I’m Carol and I’m a professional wedding, event and equine photographer based in the beautiful county of Suffolk. I live just outside Bury St. Edmunds with my husband Mike and our three cats; Percy (the boss), Inky (who thinks he’s the boss) and Bailey (who’s just a little sweetie and has got us all wrapped around her little finger). Along with photography I love chocolate and cake and I do have a weakness for a good cappuccino, preferably with a caramel shot.
Photography is a very important part of my life, an integral part of my space. It’s made me learn to look, to see what’s around me and has inspired me with the desire to create elegant and expressive images, pictures with soul. I’m currently studying for an arts degree in photography and try to introduce my growing knowledge of the arts and visual culture into my photographic work.
My love of telling a story and creating memories for people has found me really enjoying wedding, lifestyle and event photography so these are the areas that I now specialise in. My other passion is equine photography and you’ll often find me out and about shooting equestrian events. I am also pleased to be able to offer private lifestyle shoots of you and your horse.
I do take on a limited number of other commissions – commercial and corporate work, products, bespoke projects – so please contact me for availability and a quote. Whilst I live in Suffolk I cover the whole of East Anglia and beyond.
If you’ve got a few minutes to spare, take a look at my blog where you’ll find regular news about what I’ve been up to as well as occasional articles on other topics with a photographic flavour.
I hope you enjoy looking at my images. Maybe you are getting married and are looking for someone to capture the memories of your special day or you are hosting a special event or family celebration and are looking for a photographer to record the occasion. Perhaps you would like some lifestyle portraits of you and your family or would like to create some memories of you and your horse. Please get in touch to discuss your ideas and plans and I look forward to hearing from you.
